Dear Sheffield City Council,

I would contend that paragraph 6.2 of the report produced for the SYPCC explicitly indicates that 'its' refers to SCC. I am therefore interpreting this to be the case.

In the spirit of transparency please include information relating to the incidents referred to in the statement including but not exclusive to, internal and external reports and communications relating to the ‘incident’ to and from Amey and the subsequent statement issued and referred to in the report titled ‘Policing Sheffield’s Trees Protests’, dated 12th June.

To aid you further; the report to which I refer can be accessed via the following link - http://www.southyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk/Doc...

Thank you.

Dear FOI,
It would seem that both South Yorkshire Police and the Police and Crime Commissioner are uncertain about the location and date of the incident they claim that SCC reported and announced abandonment of tree felling works “…due to protestors appeared to be using dangerous tactics such as pulling and cutting safety ropes, studding trees with nails and glass and using oil which could cause chain saws to slip.”
Please provide all internal and external communications and records relating to the incident or incidents referred to and the subsequent statement issued.
Please also provide the dates of the incident(s) and locations of the tree(s) affected (the name of the road will suffice, although a more precise identification of the tree(s) should be possible as the contract requires this level of record keeping).
Please also provide all evidence that supports the veracity of this statement.
If as my previous request there is no information available, I will have to conclude the claim was fabricated.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Buxton
