Dear Buckinghamshire Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Buckinghamshire Council's handling of my FOI request 'Request for information'.

Thank you for your response. You have stated that it is not reasonably practicable to provide the information. I quote:

"Emails sent to and from Councillors, or council officers using a council email account are as a matter
of course accessible only by the person who has sent or received them. The Council has no central
document management system, or corporate means of “filing” emails as such. Officers are also
encouraged to keep such electronic documents only as long as is absolutely necessary.
General “day-to-day” emails regarding a particular planning application are not as a matter of course
retained.
Similarly notes would not normally be kept of telephone conversations or discussions with colleagues
regarding any particular application."

Given, these cases are still very active and is very recent, I do not think it unreasonable to request to see information regarding me and my cases this is held on emails sent to and from Councillors or council officers. The Councillors or council officers involved in my cases should be requested to disclose all emails.

My request was for all information, including minutes of meetings, transcripts of calls, formal and informal information exchanged between officers, employees, councillors and third-parties and agencies, email, instant messages, and all other information howsoever held, including all information generated before the formal application process was started.

Relating to :

20/03907/APP | Installation of mobile building | Land Adjoining 14 Leighton Road Northall Buckinghamshire LU6 2HD

And...

21/03932/ACL | Application for a certificate of lawfulness for existing use of land as garden ancillary to 14 Leighton Road | Land Adjoining 14 Leighton Road Northall Buckinghamshire LU6 2HD

Therefore I would like to request an internal review, as per the ICO guidance on this matter (https://ico.org.uk/media/for-organisatio...).

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/r...

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Brierley

Good afternoon

Thanks you for your email. From your email you state, You have stated that
it is not reasonably practicable to provide the information.

I can advise that we asked the planning service for information, as per
your request, and we have released the information to you that we
understand you would not already be in possession of. As advised there is
no central email depository and the relevant case documents are kept on
our planning system. However, I can make any investigations if further
communications are retained.

You also state; I do not think it unreasonable to request to see
information regarding me and my cases this is held on emails sent to and
from Councillors or council officers.

In order to assist with any review, can you please advise to what emails
you refer or if you are aware of any specific emails held by the Council.
Any additional information you could provide would be helpful.

Regards
Amy

Dear Buckinghamshire Council,

I have no knowledge of particular internal emails, which is precisely why I'm asking you to investigate. I believe my case is being discussed within the Council and the detail has not been publicly disclosed. Which is what I am asking you to investigate. Please Investigate on my behalf. Thank you

Yours sincerely,

Andrew Brierley

Good morning

Thank you for your email.

So can I please confirm that, further to our previous response,  you wish
to see any internal emails that are not recorded on the central planning
record, but may exist, and concern both you and your applications
20/03907/APP  and 21/03932/ACL?

Regards
Amy
