Request for Home Care Project Information

We're waiting for Sipho Mnguni to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear West Sussex County Council,

I would like to find out the following information from your Adults services commissioners.

1. Who is the main contact/contacts for commissioning services within Adult’s home care selector? Please also provide their job title.

2. Do you have a management framework to select providers and what are your criteria?
a) Was it tested and what is it compared with?

3 Who is the project manager of the framework, what do they do to ensure the framework is suitable?

4 Have your organisation undertaken a project in Home Care and if so
a) Was there a feasibility project study?
b) What was the length of time undertaken to do this. What was the cost?
c) How did you deliver the project, how was it managed during its implementation stage?
d) Were there post project reviews to identify the domiciliary/home care requirements, what were the positives and lessons learnt?

5 Were service users satisfied/dissatisfied with the service?

6 How many providers do you contract with for Adult’s home care services and are they internal/external?

7 Do you have a performance management framework to monitor the performance of providers?

8 Do you conduct comprehensive procurement tender process in order to identify the appropriate /suitable/ right number/ group of providers keen to deliver the best outcomes and the future of home care needs?
