Dear V Singh

Thank you for your email requesting the governing document for the charity
Guru Nanak Gurdwara Bhat Singh Sabha Community Centre under the provisions
of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

I can confirm your request has been dealt with under the FOIA.

Under s21 of the FOIA there is no obligation on a Public Authority to
provide information to an applicant where that information is already
considered to be reasonably accessible to the applicant by other means.

We consider requests for copies of charity governing documents to fall
under our duties and obligations at s18 the Charities Act 2011.

S18 requires the Charity Commission to, at the request of any person,
provide that person with copies of, or extracts from, any document in the
Commission’s possession which is for the time being open to or available
for inspection under any provision of the 2011 Act.

In accordance with s18 of the Charities Act 2011 please find attached a
copy of the governing document you requested.  This is the only governing
document we hold for the charity.

Yours sincerely

Katherine O'Hare

Information Manager
