Request for documents relating to development at 21/05219/F Plot 5 Bedminster Green Hereford Street Clarke Street, Whitehouse Lane Bristol BS3 4NA

The request was successful.

The Bristol Tree Forum

Dear Bristol City Council,

We have submitted comments on this matter - https://bristoltreeforum.files.wordpress....

In these expressed our concerns that the plans to change the highway nearby and to expose the nearby river Malago should be considered with this application because they are integral to it. We have asked for details of these plans to be published, but they have not been provided.

Please provide copies of:

1. All plans and drawings, documents and correspondence in respect of these proposals and, in particular:
a. Details and reports relating to plans to remove trees on the two sites.
b. All Biodiversity Net Gain evidence and calculations in respect of these proposals.
c. Documents relating to the removal of three trees at the north-eastern corner of Dalby Ave Open Space .

Yours faithfully,

The Bristol Tree Forum

Dear Bristol City Council,

Thank you for your offer of a meeting, which we are pleased to accept.

Please contact the writer direct to make arrangements.

You have asked for the following clarifications:

1a. Can you please clarify what two sites are referred to in your request?
Reply - see our comments which are already published on the planning portal - https://bristoltreeforum.files.wordpress....

1b. A Biodiversity Net Gain calculation has not yet been undertaken on the River Restoration project, and as above, proposals for Plot 5 are being revised and will be uploaded onto the Planning Portal once received.
Reply - Noted.

1c. Three trees removed along Dalby Avenue were removed under sections 72 and 96 of the Highways Act. We do not have specific documents relating to the removal of these trees; can you please clarify what information you are seeking?
Reply - why were these trees felled?

Yours sincerely,

The Bristol Tree Forum
