Request for details of an ex-MOD vehicle

The request was partially successful.

Dear Ministry of Defence,

I am curious about the service history of a former MOD (possible Royal Marines) Land Rover Defender 90 300Tdi HS TUL XD- WOLF, Chassis Number SALLDAA67XA162066.

I would like the service history (ie which units used the vehicle), copies of any servicing, repairs or modifications that were carried out on the vehicle and copies of any Army/MOD publications relevant to the maintenance of the vehicle please. If you hold any other information directly relating to the vehicle I would appreciate that too please (for example details of any accidents that the vehicle might have been involved in)

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need any further information.

Yours faithfully,

Rob

Dear Ministry of Defence,

In reply to my request [email address] requesting details of former military Land Rover 90 with chassis VIN# SALLDAA67VA125038 and ERM PD37AA, you directed me towards the MERLIN database citing that information about the vehicle is available and was contained in the database which you shared a link to.

Unfortunately extensive searches of this database have shown no details for the vehicle yet you have said that information does exist. Please can you share the details of the vehicle as requested on the original request or point me towards where the information is publicly available because I have been unable to find this information in the public domain.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr Re,

Receipt is acknowledged of your email of 11 October 2019 in which you
requested an internal review of a response under FOIA on behalf of the
Ministry of Defence (reference above).

The Department's target for completing internal reviews is 20 working days
and we therefore aim to complete the review and respond to you 11 November
2019. While we are working hard to achieve this, in the interests of
providing you with a more realistic indication of when you should expect a
response, we should advise that the majority are currently taking between
20 and 40 working days to complete.  The internal review that will involve
a full, independent reconsideration of the handling of the RFI as well as
the final decision.

Yours sincerely,
