Dear Raymond Putman, 
 
Thank you for your correspondence of 20 November 2024 requesting the following information:  
 
“I am currently conducting research into the layout of Keady Base in 1993 South Armagh, I would 
appreciate the layout and dimensions as I was there as a soldier during an attack in Mar 1993 and 
with the interviews of friends also there I would like to create a timeline and their individual position 
during the attack to give a better overall appreciation of the incident.” 
 
I am treating your correspondence as a request for information under the Freedom of Information 
Act 2000 (FOIA).  
 
A search for the information has now been completed within the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and I 
can confirm that no information in scope of your request is held. 
 
Under Section 16 of the FOIA (Advice and Assistance), you may find it helpful to know that this 
site was not a MOD site. The site was a Royal Ulster Constabulary Police service base, which was 
later sold.
