Dear ACCESS I.,
I would like to confirm that I am indeed requesting information on the M101 course. I am not a university applicant.

Dear Mr Dimitroulopoulos
Colleagues have asked me to get in touch with you to request clarification
in relation to your request below. Specifically, they would be grateful
if you could clarify the following:-
We are unable to provide raw data on applicants’ grades. Summarised data
could be provided as an alternative. If you would like summarised data,
please provide more detail on what form this should take. For example, we
can provide data on the number of applicants and offer holders with a
given combination of predicted A level grades (e.g. A*AA), or a points
equivalent. We can provide similar data about IB. However, it will
generally not be possible to provide summary data on equivalent
qualifications as we do not hold data on their equivalence conversion.
Note that all responses will follow the HESA Rounding Strategy.
Could you confirm if you would like to receive grouped or summarised
results, and if so, how you would like us to do this?
Your request will be placed on hold until we receive the requested
clarification from you. If however we do not receive clarification within
30 days of this email we will consider the request closed.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely

Dear ACCESS I.,
Summarised data would be fine. Please provide it as a single grade average (for example, IB scores of 38 and 42 would be averaged to 40, and A-level final grades of A*AA and A*A*A* would be averaged to A*A*A).
Yours sincerely,
John Dimitroulopoulos
Dear Mr Dimitroulopoulos
Thank you for your request for information from Durham University.
Colleagues have provided the information below in response to your
questions.
All of the requests below pertain to your law (M100) course. Please do not
include data from other law-related courses (such as Law with a Language
or Law with a Year Overseas) if these courses are available. (clarified
that you were interested in the M101 course and would be happy to receive
summarised data)
I would like to request the following information for the 2017/2018
admissions cycle:
1. A complete, anonymised list of all (I)GCSE grades achieved by the
students who enrolled in the M100 law course following the relevant
admissions period.
2. A complete, anonymised list of all A-level grades achieved by the
students who enrolled in the M100 law course following the relevant
admissions period.
3. A complete, anonymised list of all IB grades achieved by the
students who enrolled in the M100 law course following the relevant
admissions period;
4. A complete, anonymised list of all the scores for the LNAT
multiple-choice section that were achieved by students who enrolled in the
M100 law course following the relevant admissions period.
The data is based on our 1^st December census data and is for entrants on
our LLB Law course for 2018/19. In order to provide the response we have
extracted the tariff scores for the qualifications in (A Levels, IB, we do
not hold information on IGSCSE but we have provided information on
International A Levels) and then the average score has been mapped to the
nearest equivalent grades. The tariff for the IB is now based on the
individual components undertaken and not the total score.
Avg Tariff Nearest Equivalent
A-Level 158 A*-A*-A
IB 215 H6-H6-H6-S6-S6-S6
International A levels 179 A*-A*-A*
