information below regarding payments made to Flannery Plant Hire Limited.

 

Request
I request all information, reports & correspondence in relation to
Buckinghamshire Councils involvement financial and otherwise through the
Local Enterprise Partnership with regards the payment to Flannery Plant
Hire Ltd of the Getting Building Fund grant of 750K paid  relating to the
planned Flannery Operator Skills HUB

This request has been handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

 

We can confirm that Buckinghamshire Council does hold information falling
within the description specified in your request.
 
Please refer to our response below:

Buckinghamshire Council had no direct involvement with regards with
payment to Flannery Plant Hire Ltd of the £750k Getting Building Fund
grant.  Buckinghamshire Council did not incur any costs for this project. 

 

The grant was awarded to Flannery Plant Hire Ltd by the Buckinghamshire
LEP Board upon receipt and scrutiny of an independently assessed Getting
Building Fund application and business case.

 

The Council is currently represented on the LEP Board by the following
councillors Martin Tett (Council Leader), Gareth Williams (Cabinet Member
for Planning), Stephen Broadbent (Cabinet Member for Transport).

 

The proposals were considered by the LEP’s Capital Sub-Group at its
meeting on March 18th and April 29^th 2021 and by the LEP Board at its
meeting on March 26^th 2021 the minutes for all of these meetings can be
