Request for Affordable Housing Schedule Canada Water Master Development Agreement

We're waiting for Jerry Flynn to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Southwark Council

Please supply me with the Affordable Housing Schedule (Schedule 5 pg 111-120) of the Master Development Agreement(MDA) of Canada Water, between the British Land (BL) development companies for Canada Water and the London Borough of Southwark, dated 10 May 2018.

I note that the MDA is available on the Council’s website, but has many redacted parts, said to be of a ‘commercially sensitive nature’. These include the Affordable Housing Schedule. Whether or not this the case, the public interest in disclosure outweighs any justification for keeping this schedule redacted, given the size of the scheme, the involvement of council-owned land and the developer's recent application to review the affordable housing offer.

This request is made under the Environmental Information Regulations.

Yours faithfully,

Jerry Flynn
