AMEC made this Freedom of Information request to Stoke on Trent City Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was refused by Stoke on Trent City Council.

Dear Stoke on Trent City Council,

Following on from my discussion with Sam Lee today, I wish to obtain data containing recorded accidents along Eaves Lane between it's junction with Eaves Lane (south of Malcolm Drive) and Werrington Road (A52).

The survey period should cover a 5 year period up to the most recent recordedin 2011 and be classified in terms of accident severity i.e. Fatal; Serious and Slight whilst providing a description of how the accident occurred.

Data will be used within a Technical Transport Note to inform the baseline situation to determine if their is an accident problem/patten on this road.

I would be grateful if you could provide with a quote for obtaining this information and inform me of the earliest date you will be able to provide the data.

Can you also advise on methods of payment i.e. do you require a cheque, Purchase Order number, other?

Thanks in advance

Yours faithfully,

Adrian Simms MRPTI

Dear Adrian,

Thank you for your email requesting road traffic accident data.

I am the correct person within the authority to deal with requests
regarding road traffic accident data.

Unfortunately at the present time the accident database system is not
working so I am unable to provide this data straight away.

We do make a charge for accident data which varies depending on the size
of location.  We are happy for this to be paid by cheque in advance or to
invoice against a purchase order number.

I will contact you regarding this request once the accident data system is
running correctly.  If you wish to discuss this further please do not
hesitate to contact me on the details shown below.

regards,
