Dear Worcestershire County Council,

I have been informed that Worcestershire County Council no longer accepts highways fault reports made via the website FixMyStreet.com. If so, this makes it one of only 2% of councils in the UK which does not.

Please could you, firstly, confirm whether Worcestershire County Council does or does not accept reports from FixMyStreet.

If it does not accept them, please could you supply me with copies of any documents relating to the decision to cease doing so. These could be minutes of meetings, memos, letters, emails, etc. Please could you also let me know whether this decision was made solely by officers of WCC, or whether this was a decision made by members and implemented by officers.

Secondly, please could you let me know whether WCC has given any consideration to adopting the industry standard Open311 format for public fault reporting. If this has been considered, please could you let me know the outcome of this.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Goodge
