Report to the SBC Overview & Scrutiny Board

The request was successful.

Dear North Yorkshire Council FOI Officer,

I write to request information under the terms of the FOIA.

By way of context, I refer to an article in the Scarborough News dated 25th October 2018, entitled "Scarborough Council shares ideas to rejuvenate town's harbour":

https://www.thescarboroughnews.co.uk/new...

I quote:

"A report written by the council’s Acting Regeneration Services manager Alex Richards, which will be presented to the authority’s overview and scrutiny board on Wednesday, says a 'holistic' review of the harbour will be carried out."

I note that the Scarborough Borough Council website no longer exists.

Please provide a copy of the above-mentioned Report, as presented to the SBC Overview & Scrutiny Board in October 2018 (possibly on 31st October 2018), or, alternatively, please provide a URL-link which provides direct download access to the Report. Thank you.

Yours, etc

Nigel

Dear North Yorkshire Council,

I note that the Council has not provided a response to my FOIA request of 4th June 2023 with the 20-working-day timescale specified within the Act.

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an Internal Review of North Yorkshire Council's handling of my FOI request 'Report to the SBC Overview & Scrutiny Board'.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/r...

Of equal importance, I note that the Council persists in using a Disclaimer that seeks to impose confidentiality on FOIA responses. This is unacceptable. FOIA responses are, by law, published into the public domain.

Please provide a substantive response on this subject, not later thahn Friday 7th July 2023. Thank you.

Yours, etc,

Nigel Ward

Good morning, StJohn,

I am confused.

You state in your response "here is the link as requested".

However, there is no link in your response.

Please just send the report, as requested.
