The request was successful.

Dear Health and Safety Executive,

Could you please supply me with the report regarding an arson attack on the 28th September 2018.

The incident was that a motorcycle was deliberately set on fire which was adjacent to a property at 30 Stafford Grove in Sunderland on the above date. The incident was covered in the local press, namely the Sunderland Echo on the same date.

There was extensive damage to the property which consisted of damage to the side of the property and the roof. The property consisted of a downstairs flat and an upstairs flat.

I understand there would have been an investigation/report filed as there was a Health and Safety officer present at the scene on a further date as it transpired that various people had still been allowed access to the property after the incident, including myself and the occupant when there was the possibility that the building was structurally unsafe, therefore potentially putting numerous lives at risk.

Yours faithfully,

Mark McNamara
