'Report Re Forcible Administration of Antipsychotics - High Security MH Ward'

Dear Lothian NHS Board,

Per the freedom of information Scotland act 2002 please supply me with information contained in your records as follows:

1. Under the The Mental Health (Detention in Conditions of Excessive Security) (Scotland) Regulation, can you please supply your standard operating procedures including the criteria a patient must meet to be forcibly administered on arrival to what they thought what the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, not a high security mental health ward.

a) Benzodiazepines e.g. lorazepam
b) Typical antipsychotics e.g. haloperidol and zuclopenthixol

2 How many clairvoyant mediums have been admitted to the high security mental health ward at the Royal Edinburgh since 2015? Please break this figure down year on year, month on month and week on week?

3. A copy of the report submitted to the Mental Health Welfare Commission by Dr Isaac Sandeep as required for the emergency admission of a patient on administering antipsychotics?

4. Would there not be an assessment in an emergency for a person NOT being violent, unpredictable or psychotic and only vomiting, and in a state of alarm, which could indicate a liver dysfunction? Before any chemical cosh is administered?
