Report on Access and Participation plan in response to formal warning from the Office for Students
Dear University of Cambridge,
In July 2018 the Office for Students attached a specific and ongoing condition of registration[1] that required the University of Cambridge to "produce a report containing the results and outcomes of [an evaluation of the impact of its financial support for students in accordance with the commitments of its Approved 2019-20 Access and Participation Plan] (including, where applicable, any actions it intends to take) and submit the final and complete version of that report to the Director for Fair Access and Participation by 28 February 2019".
As I don't see a copy of this report on the webpage where a person would reasonably expect such documents to be lodged,[2] please can I trouble for a copy of this report?
The public interest case for releasing this report is to establish whether Cambridge University sees the challenge of the lack of access and participation from outside its elite circles as due a lack of cash[3] or anything to do with the functioning of the institution within the wider economy.
