I am writing to request an internal review of Lambeth Safeguarding Children Board's handling of my FOI request 'Report of the Inquiry into the death of Doreen Aston'.
I have received no substantive response to my request despite a lengthy wait. Lambeth has not complied with the law. Please state why this has happened and answer my foi request

The LSCB has already responded to you, and informed you the following day that we did not have a copy of the report. The Freedom of Information Act places a duty on the LSCB to release information that it has. It clearly cannot release information it does not have.
I did pass this onto our Freedom of Information Team in the Council to check if the Council itself had a copy of the report. I have not heard back but will follow this up for you.

I have checked this out on line as I have never heard of the report you have asked us for and it seems to be a report produced by Lewisham, not Lambeth:

It also appears to be related to elder abuse and not child abuse, which would not be the remit of the Children's Safeguarding Board.
I suggest that you approach the Lewisham Adult Safeguarding Board.

My apologies. I have now clarified the situation. The report is indeed a child abuse review, not an adults. Please accept my apologies for misadvising you. I have tried to obtain a report from Scie for you but have not been able to, and am continuing to ask them.
It seems to have been published by Lewisham ACPC, so it may be a report that the Lewisham Safeguarding Children Board will have.
Lambeth LSCB do not have a copy.
I hope this is helpful. If I am able to obtain a copy from Scie I will contact you.
