Dear Home Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'Report in Grooming'.
Thankyou for your reply.
I note that by law and by your own reply that you were supposed to reply by 24th March, so you were 7 weeks late and therefore failed to do your duty to reply as per statute.
I note that you made no reference to this and no apology was given.
I note that you refused the request it seems because I asked for the "report" referred to in the newspaper article. It appears this goes against the FOI advice as are supposed under S 16 to offer me advice and assistance as to how to get that information. Instead the Home Office has chosen to refuse on the basis of semantics.
It appears clear that the Home Office have deliberately delayed and chosen to avoid answering in compliance with the statute.
I therefore ask, as a separate FOI request, for a copy of the recorded information of the terms of reference of the review as asked for by Said Javid, and what form that information comes in.
I place this link here as reference https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/ho...
