Report from Linda Walker Consultancy Ltd dated September 2017

Peter C. Bell made this Freedom of Information request to City of York Council

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was refused by City of York Council.

Dear City of York Council,

Please supply a copy of the unredacted report provided to York City Council by Linda Walker of Linda Walker Consultancy Ltd entitled "REPORT TO YORK CITY COUNCIL ABOUT THE CONDUCT OF THE AUDIT AND GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE HELD ON 22ND FEBRUARY 2017" and dated September 2017.

(The redacted version of this report was tabled to the 11 April 2018 meeting of the Council's Audit & Governance committee).

If you believe that an exemption to disclosure of any part of the document applies, then please consider redacting that part which contains exempt information and specifying clearly what exemption has been applied and the reasons for applying that exemption. If a public interest test should be applied then please provide sufficient information for the requester to understand the basis of your decision under the public interest test in each case.

I note that the meeting held on the 22 February 2017 was a meeting of the committee in public and that further a video recording and minutes of that meeting were taken and have been published.

Please redact where necessary only that information which today remains sensitive information or which it is in the public interest (tested at the date that you process this request) that the information remain confidential.

When considering what parts of the requested document should be redacted please bear in mind that the names of the persons involved may well already have been disclosed in the public meeting or be readily ascertainable from viewing the video recording of that meeting. In that case I would not expect the names which are already in the public domain to be redacted as this is no longer confidential information.

Please supply the requested document in electronic form.

Yours faithfully,

Peter C. Bell
