Repairs policy for tenants in rent arrears
Dear Northern Ireland Housing Executive,
I would be very grateful if you could provide details of your repairs policies.
Can you please explain how these policies change dependent on an occupiers' status (e.g. in rent arrears, use and occupation, tolerated trespasser etc).
In particular, can you advise whether tenants in rent arrears are still entitled to have routine, urgent and emergency repairs carried out within the timeframes stipulated on your website?
Yours faithfully,
E Farrell

Dear Torney, Annabel,
Thank you Annabel. I understand that the current situation has impacted on the timing of your response. I wasn't sure if my original request was clear, so wanted to clarify that I am asking for any NIHE repairs policies and manuals and for details of any differing treatment for tenants who are in arrears, (unless this information is already clearly signposted in the manuals).
Yours sincerely,
E Farrell
