Rent payment credit/debit card transactions
Dear Sir or Madam,
1. Could you please supply information to the total amount of monies that was paid in rents by telephone using a credit or debit card and credited to the wrong rent accounts for years 2006/2007 /2008?
2. What access to your customers rent accounts does your rent collection department have before issuing a seeking possession notice?
3. Please supply the Name, address and contact details of the holding house that Leicester city council use for on-line and telephone rent payment transactions.

I confirm that your request for information was received on 24/02/09. Your request is being considered and you will receive the information requested within the statutory timescale of 20 working days from the first working day following the date of receipt, which is 24/03/09, as defined by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. For your information, the Act defines a number of exemptions that may prevent release of the information you have requested. Please be aware that if payment is not received within 3 calendar months of the date of this letter, your request will be closed and you will have to re-apply for the information should you still want it.
