Thank you for your request for information as copied below. You asked a
number of questions relating to Manchester City Council and proposed
bylaws for amendments to temporary traffic regulation orders (TTRO), which
we have sought to address below.

 

1)  Have Manchester City Council or MPs put in a request for any bylaw for
road closer to traffic or for any amendments to temporary traffic
regulation orders (TTRO) under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to
either restrict or prohibit traffic for the past 5 years.

2)  Please say whether such a revised set has been received by your
department, also say whether such proposed byelaws or amendments (TTRO)
have been approved or disapproved by your department and provide copies of
any documents which communicated this approval or disapproval to
Manchester City Council.

and

3)  On the on the other hand, should Manchester City Council have
submitted such proposed byelaws or amendments for (TTRO) and subsequently
have withdrawn such a submission, please provide copies of any documents
which communicated this withdrawal to your department.

Government (the Executive).  Therefore, you are seeking information which
is most likely held by a Government Department and you may wish to
consider submitting your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
