Remote Work Overseas

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Department for Work and Pensions should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please provide the following information:

1. The number of employees who while in theory are UK based, are able to work remotely from overseas by arrangement on either a part-time or full-time basis.
2. The above listed by country, rounded to the nearest 5.

To be clear, this does not mean any employees with foreign postings, foreign secondments/attachments or any other kind of specific foreign duty or those who work while travelling on official business/personal holiday but instead refers to those who would otherwise work for your department in the UK if not for specific arrangements made.

Yours faithfully,

Edward Blaise
