Relationship between Liverpool City Council & Shaw Healthcare

We're waiting for Roger Bannister to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Liverpool City Council,

My purpose in writing is to obtain details on the relationship between the City Council and Shaw Healthcare with regards to the Millvina and Brushwood care homes, the arrangements made to keep them open until the end of March, and what is likely to happen beyond that date. I particular could you clarify the following points:

Has any funding from the Council been made available to Shaw Healthcare in order to facilitate the homes remaining open until the end of March?
If so, how much and on what terms?
Have any charges normally due to be paid to the Council by Shaw Healthcare, such as lease charges, etc, been waived in order to facilitate the homes remaining open until the end of March?
If so, what is the value of such waived amounts?
What is the progress, if any, in finding a replacement company/organisation to take over the homes?
What will happen if after March an alternative leaseholder is not found for these homes?
I look forward to receiving your reply.

Yours sincerely
