Reinstatement of Police Widows Pensions
Dear Northern Ireland Assembly,
The Police Pension Regulations in Northern Ireland changed to allow widows of former police officers who remarried or cohabit retain their police widows pension effective from 1st July 2014.
Please provide the number of widows pension so retained and reinstated, together with the overall cumulative costs and anticipated future costs of reinstating said pensions
