INFORMATION REQUEST

 

Thank you for your request for information, which we received on 27^th May
2014.  We acknowledge receipt of your request, and we will respond to your

under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.  If the information

and notify you of relevant timescales and fees.

2011/12 Trading Standards

(a) 34 in relation to investigations into breaches of the Trade Marks Act
1994 (supply of counterfeit goods)

(b) 8 in relation to investigations into the supply of alcohol to persons
under 18

(c) 1 in relation to investigations into the supply of fireworks to
persons under 18

(d) 2 in relation to investigations into the supply of tobacco products to
persons under 18

(e) 1 in relation to investigations into the supply of Butane Gas to
persons under 18

(f) 1 in relation to an investigation regarding rogue doorstep traders who
defrauded an elderly vulnerable person

(g) 5 in relation to an investigation into motor traders selling
miss-described cars and hiding the fact he was a trader

(h) 1 in relation to an investigation into the unauthorised disposal of
animal by-products

 

2012/13 Trading Standards

(a) 6 in relation to investigations into breaches of the Trade Marks Act
1994 (supply of counterfeit goods)

(b) 4 in relation to investigations into the supply of alcohol to persons

products (both counterfeit and not complying with Safety Regulations)

(d) 1 in relation to an investigation into motor traders selling
