Registered third parties
Dear Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council,
This is a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act.
For the years 2016 and 2017, please provide a list of registered third parties - regulated by the Electoral Commission - that have requested electoral registers and/or electoral register updates, overseas voters lists, and/or absent voters lists.
For each registered third party, please provide details on what they requested and when they requested it. Please also indicate whether their requests were fulfilled.
I would like to receive this information in an electronic format. If you feel that a substantive response to this request is not possible within a reasonable time frame, I would be grateful if you could contact me and provide assistance as to how I can refine the request. If you need any clarification, please contact me. I look forward to receiving a response in 20 working days. Many thanks.

In response to your Freedom of Information request, please see the
Officer’s response below:-
We only received a request from one registered third party which was in
2015 and 2016.
The request was from Voter Consultancy Limited and they requested each
time the Full Register, Monthly Updates, Overseas Electors List, Postal
Vote List and Street Index.
The first request was made on the 2 November 2015 for the 2016 register
and on the 10 December 2015 they were supplied they information
requested. They then received the monthly updates from January 2016 –
September 2016 at the beginning of each month.
They also made a request on the 23 November 2016 for the 2017 register
and on the 5 December 2016 they were supplied they information requested.
They then received the monthly updates from January 2017 – September 2017
at the beginning of each month.
They have not currently made a request for the 2018 Register.
