Registered third parties
Dear Worcester City Council,
This is a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act.
For the years 2016 and 2017, please provide a list of registered third parties - regulated by the Electoral Commission - that have requested electoral registers and/or electoral register updates, overseas voters lists, and/or absent voters lists.
For each registered third party, please provide details on what they requested and when they requested it. Please also indicate whether their requests were fulfilled.
I would like to receive this information in an electronic format. If you feel that a substantive response to this request is not possible within a reasonable time frame, I would be grateful if you could contact me and provide assistance as to how I can refine the request. Thank you for your below Freedom of Information request sent to Worcester
City Council.
Response:
For the years 2016 and 2017, please provide a list of registered third
parties - regulated by the Electoral Commission - that have requested
electoral registers and/or electoral register updates, overseas voters
lists, and/or absent voters lists. For each registered third party, please
provide details on what they requested and when they requested it. Please
also indicate whether their requests were fulfilled.
Worcester City Council does not keep a record of which registered third
parties have requested or been provided with the Electoral Register, as
there is no requirement for them to do so. Therefore Worcester City
Council does not hold the information requested.
However, the Council were able to identify a single organisation that was
provided with the Electoral Register, the details of which can be found in
the below table:

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted no later than two months from the date of our response to your
