Register of gifts and hospitality & Register of Interests
Dear University of Glasgow,
Please provide copies of the following:
1. Register of gifts and hospitality provided to senior personnel.
2. Register of Interests.
The disclosure of this information has already been tested in the Information Commissioner's Office. In fact the publication of both a register of gifts and hospitality provided to senior personnel and a register of interests should be part of your organisation's publication scheme and I am curious to know why I even have to file an FOI request for them as they ought to be automatically disclosed.
Please see:
http://www.ico.gov.uk/what_we_cover/free...
Please also supply your policy/guidance/code of conduct on offers of gifts and hospitality received.
Yours faithfully,
James Brown
