Information Commissioner's Office

Case Reference Number RCC0799723

Review of response to information request

I write further to your correspondence of 23 October 2018 in which you
requested a review of the handling of your request dealt with under the
reference number IRQ0791816.  My name is Elizabeth Baxter and I am the
Group Manager in the Information Access service team. I have been asked to
review the way we handled your request for information. I can confirm that
I have had no prior involvement in the handling of this request.

Your request for review concerns the handling of your request IRQ0791816
You had asked for:

“Dear Information Commissioners Office, I am writing to request a copy of
your register of fee payers in an open reusable form. Yours faithfully, Mr
M Smith”

In your response of 23 October 2018 we confirmed that we are not able to
disclose a copy of the requested information in CSV format. In her
response, Iman El Mehdawy advised you that the information you requested
was available in a different format on the Information Commissioners
Office website and we intend to publish the information you request in csv
format in the future.

In the interests of best practice I have also liaised with internal
colleagues to try to ascertain a timeline for the plans to re-introduce a
copy of the downloadable copy of the public register in csv format. At
this time we do not have a timeline for when this will be completed. This
is due to the fact that we are currently moving website developers. We
need to allow them some time to take on support of the website and we will
then be estimating timescales for the planned projects with them. We will
of course be updating this on our website when we are able to.

Complaint procedure

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of this review you can make a
formal complaint with the ICO in its capacity as the regulator of The
Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please follow the link below to submit
your complaint:
