Dear London School of Economics,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of London School of Economics's handling of my FOI request 'Regarding economics applicants stats'.
A response to my request is long overdue, as it has been over 40 working days since my request was sent.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/r...
Yours faithfully,

Dear David,
Your original request was not received by the School as far as we can tell. As such, this is the first notice we have had of your request. For some reason, What Do They Know is set up to send to a group email at the School that is not directly involved in processing Freedom of Information requests. I suggest if you have a request in the future that you use the following email address: [email address].
We are taking 27th October as the date of receipt of your request and will respond 20 working days from that date.
Regards,
Rachael Maguire

Dear David,
With reference to your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act, please find attached the information you requested. Please note that this information is provided to the School through UCAS applications and so may not be completely accurate. Also, the A level statistics include all subjects, however offers for BSc Economics require an A* in Maths or Further Maths. A*s in other subjects without an A* in Maths/Further Maths would not constitute meeting the offer conditions. Also some subjects such as General Studies or Critical Thinking would not be included in an offer at all.
If you think that the information provided does not meet your request, contact me on 020 7849 4622 or write to Kevin Haynes, Head of Legal and Compliance, Governance, Legal and Planning Division, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office http://www.ico.gov.uk/, though they expect the internal review to be carried out before receiving a complaint directly.

Copying or reproducing such information in any way either in whole or in part without prior written consent may be an infringement of copyright or other intellectual property right belonging to the LSE or a third party.
