RIGA FOI (Queue), Charity Commission for England and Wales

Dear Mr Singh

Thank you for your request for information which was received by the
Charity Commission on 11 June 2019.  You asked:

“1) On what Grounds has Charity Ref: 113883  not been granted authority
under S115?”

Your request has been processed under the provisions of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

A search of the Commission’s records has been undertaken and I can confirm
that the information you are seeking is not held.  We are therefore unable
to provide this information to you.

A representative of the charity contacted the Commission in June 2016 to
request consent for a s115 Order to commence legal proceedings.  The
Commission responded in July 2016 with a list of documents the charity
would need to supply in order for the permission to be granted.  The
charity did not send these documents to the Commission and therefore no
formal application for a s115 Order was made by the charity.

Yours sincerely

Mrs L Whitehurst
