RegardIng BBC Cumbria from 2023

The request was refused by British Broadcasting Corporation.

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
As Cumbria is being abolished in 2023, can you confirm that as in line with other abolished authorities such as Cleveland and Humberside, that the broadcasts will in future state (broadcasting) to "Cumberland, Westmorland & Furness" and drop the (currently) non-stop pushing of 'Cumbria' which seems to be 3 times a minute on all BBC Cumbria radio talk shows?

There was no trouble with eg BBC Humberside saying broadcasting to East Yorkshire & North Lincolnshire immediately Humberside the County was abolished.

I would hope that the word and indeed concept 'Cumbria' can also be treated correctly and entirely dropped from usage in the exact same manner and said (moving forward) to be broadcasting/speaking to Cumberland, Westmorland & Furness.

'Cumbria' an admin area that is being abolished and didn't exist pre-1974 will have no relevance just like the former Avon /Cleveland / Humberside so it will have no legal status and in fact road signs and maps are having to take all references to 'Cumbria' down from 2023 as is correct procedure.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Toone

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'RegardIng BBC Cumbria from 2023'.
My initial enquiry has been "cherry picked" in your reply respectfully, and it is obvious to me at least that the correctly framed context in which I wrote is being 'swerved' somewhat.
I may be forgiven for thinking that something is being done to 'preserve' "Cumbria" within the BBC for reasons unknown.
Your Radio Cumbria broadcasts may well continue with the name BBC Cumbria, as does BBC Humberside for example.
However it appears that "Cumbria", an authority to be abolished in 2023 seems to sticking around somewhat, where there were for example no issues dropping "Humberside" as an entity other than in the radio station name.
BBC Humberside does not announce it broadcasts to Humberside following Humbersides' abolition, rather to East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, so why should "Cumbria" continue to be announced (it is nothing special and did not exist before 1974) especially as Cumberland and Westmorland & Furness will absolutely replace "Cumbria".
It falls outside of just entertainment/journalism and the like so there will be absolutely no reason to say the word "Cumbria" other than in the name of your station "BBC Cumbria" in future, which will be broadcasting to Cumberland, Westmorland & Furness.

On this basis your reply did not answer my contextually framed enquiry.
