- The number of households under your care in 2018, 2019 and 2020
- The cost of refuse collection operations for 2018, 2019 and 2020
- The percentage of bins missed during refuse collection rounds in 2018, 2019 and 2020

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request received on the

Reference 5233 has been applied to your request which will be looked into
and we will aim to provide a response within 20 working days.

Braintree District Council is making decisions each day to balance the
needs to maintain essential services and support those in most need,
whilst following public health guidance to protect the public and staff
against infection from coronavirus.

Please note the following:

• All figures are in financial years and the 2020-21 is a projection
because that year is not yet complete.

• This is the cost of the whole refuse and recycling service and includes
but not exclusively the following: collection of Residual waste,
Recycling, Food waste, Garden waste, Glass collection from bring banks,
Trade Waste and special collections.

• These are direct costs of these services and exclude corporate overheads
such as capital charges and central recharges.
