Refurbishment and developement of play parks in Sully, Vale of Glamorgan

We're waiting for Lucy Rees to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Vale of Glamorgan Council,

Please can you provide me with the following information

1. How many play parks are there in Penarth
2. How many play parks are there in Sully
3. How many play parks are there in Dinas Powys

4. How much money has been spent renovating and developing the below parks in Penarth

St David's Crescent play area
Cliff tops
Belle view park
Cosmeston Lakes
Golden gates play area
Murchfield play area
Porthkerry play area

5. Please name any other play area parks that have received investment from the vale of glamorgan including the amount.

6. Why have there been no renovations in Sully regarding play parks or places for families/children. Penarth have had multiple parks renovated and so have other areas in the Vale of Glamorgan but Sully haven't benefited from any investment.

7. Why have the Vale not published a consultation regarding this and ask the public their thoughts? Why is there a bias over certain areas of the Vale receiving money?

8. How many people live in Penarth?

9. How many people live in Sully ?

10. Why is there such a significant difference in money being spent on Penarth and Sully ?

11. Please provide the reason why there are no adequate play area's in Sully for children and why has this not been investigated?

Yours faithfully,

Lucy Rees
