Dear FOI Team,

I would be most grateful if you would provide me, under the Freedom of Information Act, details in respect to the contract below.

Repair and maintenance services of reservoirs

The details we require are:

• Suppliers who applied for inclusion on each framework/contract and were successful & not successful at the PQQ & ITT stages*
• Contract values of each framework/contract (& any sub lots), year to date
• Start date & duration of framework
• Is there an extension clause in the framework(s)/contract(s) and, if so, the duration of the extension?
• Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s) are being either extended or renewed?
• Who is the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for this contract?

For clarity, the details of the successful and unsuccessful suppliers are kept in the strictest confidence. These details are used only to contact and support suppliers regarding their bidding activity for the relevant contracts.

Your Environmental Information Request

Dear Mr Smith

Thank you for the email you sent us on 6 August 2019.

Thames Water Utilities Limited is a private organisation, which means we
are not subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we are however
considered a public authority where a request for information is of an
environmental nature.

I have reviewed the details you have asked for, and I have assessed this
against the definition outlined in the Environmental Information
Regulations 2004.  I do not consider that the information you have
requested relates to the state of the elements or the factors of the
environment. I have therefore applied exemption Part 3, Paragraph 12 (1).

If we did consider this to be a request of an environmental nature, we
would also apply the confidentiality of commercial or industrial
information exemption Part 3, Paragraph 12 (5) (e).

We are more than happy to consider any further requests relating to
environmental matters.

Internal Review

If you feel that we have not dealt with your request for environmental
information properly, you can ask us to reconsider our response. Your
complaint must be made in writing and will need to be made no later than
40 working days after you receive our original response.

We will carry out an ‘Internal review’ of your complaint to decide whether
we have complied with the requirements set out in the Environmental
Information Regulations 2004. We will inform you of the outcome of our
internal review as soon as possible, and no later than 40 working days
after receiving the complaint.

purpose.

Under the Regulations, Thames Water has a duty to individuals requesting
information to make that information available on request and in the
format requested, and must comply with this duty, unless one of the
exceptions contained within the Regulations applies.

On this occasion, as the time (chargeable under our published charging
regime) taken to prepare the response has fallen under our minimum limit
for charging, we have waived the fee; We reserve the right to charge in
accordance with the fees published on our web site for any future
requests.
