Dear Cardiff City Transport Services Limited,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Cardiff City Transport Services Limited's handling of my FOI request 'Ref. Cardiff Bus Route No. 27'.

[This request is because I am a Cardiff Council Taxpayer who lives next to this route and I have noticed a proliferation of buses and more frequent times during the year 2017/18. Having watched numerous empty buses passing my address I do not believe that this route is at all profitable and an unnecessary cost to Council Tax payers. I also feel that due to this increased traffic diesel pollution levels along this route have now obtained unacceptable levels. GIVE DETAILS ABOUT YOUR COMPLAINT HERE ]

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/r...

unnecessary costs to the taxpayer relating to route 27.

Further to your email, and apologies for the delay in our reply, an
internal review of your Freedom of Information request and our initial
response has now been conducted and the decision has been upheld that the
information requested is deemed commercially sensitive by the company and
we are therefore unable to share such information with you.

While we appreciate you are making your own observations of the route and
therefore some information is in the public domain, specific information
regarding this route are not publicly available. As this route is serviced
by other operators, under Section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act,
the performance and profitably of this route are considered to be
commercially sensitive.

However, I am able to advise that we regularly monitor and review our
services and any service that requires adjustment is made in line with the
Traffic Commissioners’ guidance and authority.

If you are not content with the outcome of our internal review, you have
the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at the Information
Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9
5AF – Tel 0303 123 1113.

Yours sincerely
