Are you able to give me a call about this? Cheers, Delia (Nottingham Post Local Government Correspondent - 0115 948 2000.)

Dear Information Governance,

Thank you for your reply and the information you have provided so far.

The response raises the following queries:

1. As 41 workers from the service are on re-deployment at present I appreciate the full answers to Q1 & 3 are not yet available. Could you provide details of a date when these figures will be known? (i.e. date of the end of re-deployment period). Could you advise if this information will automatically be provided once known or if this will require a separate FOI request.

2. As per my question 4 – please confirm if any other redundancy processes were used by the authority other than the ‘Enabling document’ provided. If so please provide copies of these.

3. As per question 5 – whilst it is useful to be provided with current figures, please provide the answer to the question as of when redundancies were made. Please provide these broken down by type of post as originally requested.

4. Re Q7, you have said there has been no cost to the authority for this. Please include officer’s time for shortlisting, interviewing and any other tasks associated with being understaffed as a result of restructure, and any room hire other non-staff costs etc in your calculation for this answer.

5. Strategic choice saving £530,000, as an overall saving is the redundancy cost off-set against this? i.e. a saving in real terms of £217,817.72

6. Service plans that detail the work plan of the Play & Youth Service for 2011-12. Please provide a timescale for the remaining information giving reasons why Q10 was not provided, I appreciate I was informed of this during our phone conversation of 27th July but as this is a simple case of providing a service plan I cannot see a justifiable reason for the delay.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Rodgers

Dear Information Governance,

Could you please provide a response to this.

I have phoned several times to request an update and reason for the continued delay and have been told that Stephanie Pearson is dealing with this. I have asked that either an update is provided via the 'What do they know' website or that Stephanie Pearson contact me directly.

I have received neither and your response to the internal review is now way over double the legal timescale permitted.

There is no justifiable reason for a request for a service plan to take over 75 working days.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Rodgers
