our response:
 
 
1. How many British Muslim employees have you recruited? Please provide
figures for every year since 2010.
 
East Norfolk Sixth Form College is geographically located in an area where
the number of people declaring that they are Muslim is very low and
applications for jobs with us tend to be from locals as people do not
frequently move to the area unless they have local or family links
although we encourage them to come here through our social media
advertising.
 
We do not collect data that links British and Muslim together. We do have
1 employee declaring that they are Muslim. However, we have not linked
this to whether they are British. We have employees with a variety of
different backgrounds and nationalities. We encourage applications and
have employees from different backgrounds and faiths (including those who
do not have a faith). Our largest declared religion on application and for
existing employees is ‘none’ .
 
2. What is the average length of service?
 
The average length of service for all employees is 7.2 years. However, we
do not collect data showing the length of service for British Muslims.
 
3. How many British Muslims have you employed in communications/media
roles since 2010?
 
We do not have a role defined as communications/ media as we are a Sixth
Form College so cannot answer this question.
