I wish to acknowledge the receipt of request for information dated 27 February 2022.

Section 14(2) of the Freedom of Information Act makes provision for public authorities to refuse a request for information as repeated (provided that the public authority has previously provided the information requested) if:

* it is made by the same person as a previous request;
* it is identical or substantially similar to the previous request; and
* no reasonable interval has elapsed since the previous request.

In our opinion, your previous request made on 13 January 2022 to which the University responded on 9 February 2022 (reference 3102), satisfies all the above criteria. Consequently, under Section 14(2) your request will not be processed further and this email constitutes a refusal notice under Section 17(4) of the Freedom of Information Act.

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal review.
