I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request. Please
find below the information requested.
1. How many British Muslim employees have you recruited? Please provide
figures for every year since 2010.
2. What is the average length of service?
This table details the number of British Muslim employees by their start
date of employment. Please note that it is not mandatory for staff to
disclose details of their religious beliefs; 42% of our employees have
declined to or not provided this detail to date.
We have instances of employees leaving the University and returning and
each instance is counted separately in this data.

3. How many British Muslims have you employed in communications/media
roles?
We have no individual employees who are recorded as British Muslim working
directly in communications/media-specific positions. We are aware that
many roles have an element of communications or media responsibility, but
we do not hold this information in an easily accessible format.
