I hope the following will answer your query

 

I can confirm in response to your questions, Cambridge City Council does
not hold information by the definition ‘British Muslim’ for our
employees. 

 We do collect information from employees on their Ethnicity and Religion
or Belief, although these are voluntary questions and not everyone
responds or provides detail.  The only information that we hold completely
for all our staff is their job title and length of service. The Ethnicity
categories that we do collect are the same categories as the Census (which
does not include British Muslim as a category ”
