 1. How many British Muslim employees have you recruited? Please provide
figures for every year since 2010.

Data does not exist for every year since 2010 , but below are details of
the number of employees on the Council payroll that have declared their
religious belief as “Muslim” – data is a snapshot at March 2020, March
2021 and February 2022. Please note it is not a mandatory requirement for
employees to

declare religious beliefs., therefore below figures are out of those that
have actually declared their religious beliefs.

• February 2022 = 176
• March 2021 = 184
• March 2020 = 190

 2. What is the average length of service?

The current average length of continuous service across all employees is
12.59 Years.

 3. How many British Muslims have you employed in communications/media
roles since 2010?

Data does not exist for every year since 2010 , but below are details of
the number of employees on the Council payroll that worked in the Councils
Communications Service. Data is a snapshot at March 2020, March 2021 and
February 2022.
