In relation to your application:-

 

(i)        Subject to the application of any statutory exemptions which
may apply in relation to your request, the Authority will take steps to
respond to your request.  If any such exemptions do apply, then you will
be notified accordingly by means of a separate formal written notice.

 

(ii)       The Authority has 20 working days, from the day after the date
of receipt, to comply with a request for information – under Section 10 of
the Act.  Your request was received by this Authority on 07/03/22.  The
statutory limit ends on 04/04/22.

We write with reference to your request for information pursuant to the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.  Your request was received on 07/04/22
regarding British Muslim employees.  Our responses to your questions are
listed in the order set out in your request

 

The right under the Freedom of Information Act to request official
information held by public bodies is subject to certain restrictions and
exemptions.  The Authority is under a legal duty to deal with your
application in accordance with the legislation and in particular to
provide a response as soon as practicable.

 

Our response is set out as follows:

            The Authority confirms that it holds the information
requested.

 

2.        Disclosure

 

1. How many British Muslim employees have you recruited? Please provide
figures for every year since 2010.

One employee who has declared this on their Equality of Opportunity
Monitoring Form.   They were recruited in April 2020. 

 

2. What is the average length of service?

1 year 11 months based on the one employee.

 

3. How many British Muslims have you employed in communications/media
roles since 2010?”.

None, that have declared this.

 

YOUR RIGHTS
