Records relating to the Hunting Ban

The request was partially successful.

Sara Brittlegill

Dear Lincolnshire Police,

Since the Hunting Wild Mammals with Dogs Act was introduced in 2004, how many incidents, investigations, prosecutions and convictions have been recorded by your officers, in each year to date, relating to this legislation?

Please include any narrative indicating whether the figures reflect the actual number of incidents, investigations, prosecutions and convictions recorded and any explanation for the difference, including reference to any relevant policies and procedures.

I understand that an incident may or may not proceed to a prosecution, and that a prosecution may or may not result in a conviction and this will be reflected in the figures.

If this takes longer than 18 hours to assimilate, please start from 2018, working backwards to a point where the actual time taken equals 18 hours.

Yours faithfully,

Sara Brittlegill
