Dear Newark and Sherwood District Council,

I have received the CD in the post - unfortunately, having tried the CD in three different machines, the player machines have not been able to initialise the disk and it is unplayable.

Can you please send a CD that is playable?

Thank you

Yours faithfully,

Peter Harris

Dear Mr Harris

I apologise about the fact you are having difficulties in listening to the CD. I am a little unsure as to why it is not working as I tested it on my PC before posting it to you. Before I arrange for another CD to be sent to you can I ask that you fast forward it to about 28 or 29 minutes in as I vaguely remember the first 28 minutes being blank. I think I wrote the exact time on the note attached to the CD but forgot to mention it in my covering letter.

If you are still having trouble please let me know.

Many apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Dear Tracey,

Thanks - you did indeed say to foward to the 28:18, the problem is I cannot get the CD player - or the PC - to read the disk so that I can forward to the section.

Thank you

Peter Harris

Dear Mr Harris

I have spoken to our ICT department and they are unsure as to why the CD can't be read.

Therefore another solution is for me to email it to you. However due to the very large file size we would have to send this attachment using Cryptshare. When using Cryptshare the files are placed onto a portal for you to download, this involves a link being provided to you. The only problem we see with this process via WhatDoTheyKnow is that all links and email addresses are removed by them.

As a suggestion it may be worth you emailing us using your personal email address. If you go to our website to the Freedom of Information page you will find our email address.
