Dear Post Office Limited,

Do you recognise the National Federation of Sub Postmasters for collective bargaining purposes as defined by the Trade Union Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 ?

If you do, do you have an existing collective bargaining agreement in force signed by both parties, and if such an agreement exists what areas of collective bargaining does it cover, when did it commence and for how long does it last?

Yours faithfully,

Mark Baker

Dear Mr Baker,

Ref: Freedom of Information Request - OOLO-92XEWC

I am writing in response to your email received by Post Office Limited on
13 December 2012, which I am dealing with under the terms of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000.

In your email you have requested the following information;

Do you recognise the National Federation of Sub Postmasters for collective
bargaining purposes as defined by the Trade Union Labour Relations
(Consolidation) Act 1992?

If you do, do you have an existing collective bargaining agreement in

of collective bargaining does it cover, when did it commence and for how
long does it last?

I can confirm that Post Office Limited does not hold information relevant
to your request.

Subpostmasters are not ‘workers’ for the purposes of the Trade Union
Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 and as such the Post Office Ltd

bargaining purposes.

this occasion. However, if you are dissatisfied with the handling of this
response, you do have a right to request an internal review. You can do
