Reasons for late services skipping Bethnal Green
Dear Network Rail Limited,
Monday to Saturday, the 00:48 and 01:03 London Overground trains from Liverpool Street to Chingford skip Bethnal Green Station. On Sunday only the 01:03 skips Bethnal Green.
Please advise if there are any track embargo's or other reasons why this Zone 2 station is not served late at night.
With the last Enfield Town train leaving Liverpool Street at 00:01 Monday to Saturday and 23:30 on Sundays, is there any reason such as track embargo's or other reasons why Chingford Trains cannot divert onto the Suburban lines after the last Enfield Town train to ensure that Cambridge Heath and London Fields Station's remain served at those times, ensuring that they are broadly aligned with the last tube services at Liverpool Street?
Yours faithfully,
Philip Ridley

Dear Philip Ridley
Thank you for your email, which the FOI team has passed on to us in Compliance and Appeals. Lou Lander has asked me to have a look at this for you.
I have checked our systems and the response to FOI2021/01822 was sent on 17 January 2022, by my colleague Najea Begum. Her email and the attachment containing her letter are showing on What Do They Know, but I appreciate that this may not appear as clearly as it could do because of the inclusion of earlier email chains. This link should take you directly to the PDF response: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/8...
I hope that this helps, but if I have misunderstood your request for a review in any way please do let me know and I will be happy to investigate further.
Yours sincerely

Dear Compliance & Appeals FOI,
Thank you for your response. The reply I received satisfactorily responded to my request with regards to the Sunday service, but I also asked about late services skipping Bethnal Green Monday to Friday plus, Saturday.
In addition, I would like to know why the 00:48 from Liverpool Street to Chingford shows on the working timetable but does not call at any stations, operating without passengers despite running at all other days of the week.
Yours sincerely,
Philip Ridley

Dear FOI,
There shouldn't be any need for an internal review, the initial request was misunderstood despite multiple attempts to clarify, only part of the request has received a response, I asked about skipping of Bethnal Green all week at the end of the day and only received a response about Sunday.
Yours sincerely,
Philip Ridley
