Re-routing of black hackney cabs at Ashton Market place
Dear Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council,
Engineering Dept
I should be grateful for copies of all correspondence,
discussions, emails, meeting minutes, reports, spreadsheets, any advice to Ministers and other records held by the Department concerning the re-routing of the black hackney cabs from their traditional route along Wellington Road from Ashton Marketplace to the new one-way system via the new bypass and traffic lights at Albion Way, then proceeding to the traffic lights at Ashton Railway Station. There is a strong public/cab driver interest relating to the policy decision preventing hackney cabs from using the short distance on Wellington Road to the railway station.
My preferred format to receive this information is by electronic means. If one part of this request can be answered sooner than others, please send that information first followed by any subsequent data. If you need any clarification of this request please feel free to email me.
If FOI requests of a similar nature have already been asked could you please include your responses to those requests.
Yours faithfully,
Mrs R Gauci
