Dear Mr Fairley

I am writing in response to your request for information below.

Please note that this information is not held by the London Borough of
Hillingdon but by the Electoral Registration Officer. Although appointed
by the council, the Electoral Registration Officers responsibilities and
duties are personal. An example of this is that the register of electors is
deemed to be the property of the Electoral Registration Officer, not the
local authority and it is important to note that the Electoral Registration
Officer is not a public authority for the Purposes of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.

We have referred your request to the ERO who has provided this response at
his discretion

In this instance the information you are seeking is not available as the
Referendum was not conducted on constituency boundaries so it is not
possible to provide this breakdown.

If you have any queries regarding this matter please do not hesitate to
contact me.

If you wish to request an internal review of our response you should write,
within 2 months, to:

Office Managing Partner, Legal Services, Civic Centre, High St, Uxbridge,
UB8 1UW (or via email to [Hillingdon Borough Council request email] marked for the attention of
the Office Managing Partner).

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the
right to apply to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The
Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner’s
Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.
